What is the difference between binary options and regular forex or CFD trading?

The key difference binary options have with other types of trading is the fixed risk and reward. You can receive a payout of up-to 200%, while not risking any more than your initial investment amount. Moreover, you only need a small price movement in your favour (0.1 pip) to receive a full payout.

Where does the price feed for forex assets come from?

The price feed for all assets come from either FXCM or Leverate. Both well known institutional feed providers.

Is there any crypto assets like Bitcoin or Ethereum available to trade?

Currently there are no cryptocurrency assets available to trade. However, we have received news that crypto assets will start to be introduced during 2018. Please subscribe to our newsletter for further updates.

What trading time frames are offered?

Time frames depend on the individual assets, but are from as little as 30 seconds up until end-of-day.

What assets am I able to trade?

The Zentrader platform offers a wide variety of assets to trade. Currency pairs: all the majors like EUR/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/USD and most “crosses” like NZD/JPY, EUR/GBP.

Commodities like GOLD and SILVER. And stock market indices, like Dow Jones, Nikkei, German DAX, France CAC, Australia ASX and Hong Kong Hang Seng.

All these can be traded in your own home base currency – USD, JPY, AUD, EUR, GBP or IDR. So no need to worry about currency conversion or exchange rates.

What are the advantages of trading binary options?

The main advantages are the defined risk and reward profile of trades i.e. payouts of up-to 200% while only risking the investment amount. Also, only a small movement in the asset’s price (0.1 pip) is required for traders to receive the full payout.

What is the right amount of capital to start trading?

If you have spent time on the Demo Account and want to progress to using real funds on a Live Account, our advice is to start small and scale up your your capital and trade size as you become comfortable with your trading strategy.

Is binary options risky?

Participating in financial markets in general is risky, binary options are no different. The fast paced nature of binary options offer the ability to multiply your capital many times in a short period of time. However, having adequate risk management is the key to consistent profitability and capital preservation over time.

Is trading considered gambling?

Some people do gamble in financial markets and with binary options. But for the most part, traders approach markets having developed a strategy that will give them a profitable edge over time as well as a plan to manage risk.

Can you teach or provide advice on how to trade?

While our Demo Account and News & Updates (don’t forget to subscribe) pages are a great place to start, we believe ultimately it is up to the individual trader to “tread their own path” and develop their own trading style. What are binary options?

Binary Options are a way for an investor to trade on the future direction of an asset. They are predicting if the price of an asset will be higher or lower at a predetermined time in the future. If the prediction is correct the investor will receive a fixed payout (e.g. 180-200%) as return on their investment. If incorrect, the investor will lose the investment amount. What is a payout?

A payout is the amount returned at the conclusion of a trade and is generally quoted as a percentage. For example, an investment with a 200% payout and $1000 investment, means you will receive $2000 back i.e. $1000 invested capital + $1000 profit on trade.

Can I withdraw my cashback bonus?

The cashback bonus can only be withdrawn after it has been redeemed. All Zentrader bonuses must be traded 1 times in order to redeem, you will also receive any profits made using cashback amounts. We explain how trading bonuses work and how you can avoid common tricks here.

How much is the minimum deposit?

Minimum deposit depends on the base currency of your account. For USD/EUR/GBP accounts the minimum deposit is $ / € / £ 50. Rp.250,000 for IDR accounts and ¥5000 for JPY accounts.

What fees are charged for withdrawals?

Withdrawal fees vary depend on the method chosen and base currency of your Zentrader account.

Most deposits and withdrawals on Zentrader are free of charge.

Why isn’t my credit card payment accepted?

There can be a number of reasons why your credit card may not be accepted. The most common is some banks block international transactions. It is worth contacting your bank first to ask them to unblock the transaction, failing this, contact the Zentrader support team [email protected] to have a look at the problem.

How long do deposits and withdrawals take?

Zentrader prides itself on fast and efficient payments. Most deposit methods are instant, including Credit Cards (all currencies), Bank Transfers (AUD, JPY and IDR) and Neteller (USD, EUR, GBP). EUR, GBP and USD deposits via Bank Transfer take 2-3 business days.

Withdrawals via Bank Transfer are processed twice daily (all currencies) and Credit Card withdrawals typically take 3-8 business days to receive.

Can I deposit and withdraw via my bank account?

Yes, Zentrader accepts deposits and withdrawals via bank transfer in the following currencies: USD, JPY, AUD, IDR, EUR and GBP.

Can I deposit and withdraw using credit cards?

Yes, Zentrader accepts deposits and withdrawals via credit cards in the following currencies: USD, JPY, AUD, IDR, EUR and GBP.

What currencies can I deposit and withdraw with?

Zentrader receives and makes payments in the following currencies: US Dollar (USD), Japanese Yen (JPY), Australian Dollar (AUD), Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), Euro (EUR), and Pound Sterling (GBP). Availability is dependent on the base currency of your Zentrader account.

Where does the trade expiry or closing price come from?

Zentrader uses institutional grade, independent pricing feeds to price all the assets. Forex and stock indices use either FXCM or Leverate. There is no intervention from the broker in determining closing prices.

My trade didn’t execute and it’s showing “stale rate”, what is this?

As with all trading and dealing platforms, even those provided by major FX brokers like Goldman Sachs, UBS, EBS and JP Morgan, there is sometimes the issue of rejected trades (known as rejects). This occurs most of the time due to internet and network latency, where the client “hits” a price and the market price has changed by the time their order reaches the broker.

Can I close my trades early?

Yes, the trading platform offers the option to close your trades early to take profit or as a risk-management measure (i.e. stop loss). Note that you are only able to close trades early up until the final minute of trading in the option. Past that point, all trades are final.

Do you offer signals? Which company has the best binary option signals?

The Payout does not offer trading or binary option signals. We also do not endorse or recommend any company providing these services. For the same reason as binary option robots, if you had developed a consistently profitable strategy, why would you sell it?

What is the best trading or binary options robot?

The Payout does not endorse or recommend any binary option or trading robots that are for sale on the market. Be very careful before you purchase any robots or automated trading strategies – many are scams and frauds. If you had developed a winning strategy, why would you sell it?

What is the best trading strategy to make money?

We have witnessed professional traders place currency trades of 50, 100, 500 million dollars based upon lines on a chart (technical analysis). Some use chart indicators such as RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands or Moving Averages to successfully trade. Others will trade news events or data releases such as interest rate announcements from major central banks like the RBA, BOJ or ECB.

There is no “best” trading strategy – we believe it is up to the individual trader to develop a strategy that is best for them and that often means study and dedication to the markets for an extended period of time.

What is the best time to trade?

The best time to trade will differ from trader to trader and their individual strategy. Most traders will generally focus the market that is most active and volatile.

The three major trading sessions are Tokyo (Asia), London (Europe) and New York (US) and usually coincide with most activity in their respective markets.

For example, AUD/NZD/JPY/Nikkei/ASX/Hang Seng (Asia), EUR/GBP/DAX/FTSE (Europe) and USD/All Currencies/Dow Jones (US).

Is there a mobile trading app available?

Yes, the Zentrader platform is available on both iPhone and Android. Most features including quick deposit, withdrawal and demo trading are also available via the mobile app.

What time is the market open?

The opening times vary for each asset type. Currencies and gold trade almost around the clock, with approximately a 1 hour break (08:00 – 09:00am AEDT/AEST time). Stock market indices trade their respective equity market hours, e.g. Nikkei and Hang Sang close during market lunch break the same as the futures contract. Indices are closed during individual country holidays.

What is the maximum trade size?

Zentrader caters to very large traders. The trade action (per click) trade size maximum is as follows: USD $1,000, AUD $1,000, GBP £1,000, EUR €1,000, JPY ¥100,000 and IDR Rp.10Mio.

However, many traders will execute their positions over multiple trades. The overall individual account exposure limits are: USD $50,000, AUD $50,000, GBP £50,000, EUR €50,000 JPY ¥10Mio and IDR Rp.500Mio.

What is the minimum trade size?

The minimum depends on your account base currency. For USD/EUR/GBP accounts the minimum trade size is $ / € / £ 10. Rp.50,000 for IDR accounts and ¥1000 for JPY accounts.
